She is currently a PhD student in Global Governance and Human Security and a research associate at the Center for Governance and Sustainability (CGS) at the University of Massachusetts Boston. Additionally, Candace is an Adjunct Lecturer of Environmental Politics at Babson College in Massachusetts. She received her BS in Finance and MA in International Studies from Oklahoma State University.
